Chciago Fusion Theatre Teaches a Lesson in Bromance!

Chicago Fusion Theatre presents its third production,12 Hungry Men, an improvised play conceived by Associate Artistic Director, Jakub Haczkiewicz. With more cutthroat competition than a reality show, and more controversy than a True Hollywood Story, this hilarious 60 minute performance explores the story of Jesus and the twelve pioneers of “bromance,” exposing a time overlooked by historians and theologians: The First Supper.Under the company’s mission to celebrate physical-based theater, Chicago Fusion returns after their critically acclaimed production of Charles Mee’s bobrauschenbergamerica, tackling the improvisationalstyle of HBO’s wildly popular Curb Your Enthusiasm. “I have always appreciated Larry David’s self deprecating humor combined with his candid, unapologetic honesty. Fusing together established movement with improvisational comedy presents a unique evening of unending predicaments,” says Artistic Director Nilsa Reyna, as she directs a diverse cast of 14 Chicago actors.Featuring: Javier Dominguez, Sentell Harper, Jakub Haczkiewicz, Drew Wancket, Ronaldo Coxson, Tom Bambara, Timothy Bambara, Tim Martin, Ryan Morton, Natalie DiCristofano, Matthew Peterson, Miquel Nunez, Mike Cherry, and Sergio Mojica.
